How are you? Let’s check in. Where are you finding yourself after this first week of the new year?
I’m hearing a few patterns I wanted to share:
- Some of you may be bumping against old patterns you’ve been working to change for years, if not decades. And, while it can be uncomfortable there is finally some forward momentum.
- You’re clear, you’ve done so much healing. You know mostly know where you’re heading this year and you’re making it happen.
- Maybe you’re finally closing a chapter that’s taken you years to breakthrough; and feeling a sense of freedom and purpose. Energized, engaged and ready to move forward.
- And, maybe while most of your life is going well, there’s still something nagging you. A challenge you don’t quite feel ready to face, accept and change.
- Or, one or more areas of life you’re not where you want to be and you may not see a path forward yet.
So, where do you fall somewhere above or somewhere else?
Gaining clarity on your values, building your self-worth, belief that you can have what you want and up-level without settling or just making it work is a new mindset shift that takes some inner awareness, courage, commitment and resolve to change.
This is a journey and one I’m here to guide you on whether it’s here through these weekly reflections and exercises, 1:1 or group support…or something new and inspiring that’s coming. You’re not alone.
Remember, once we have a knowing and an awareness of a pattern—we either disconnect to keep the status quo and create coping patterns (that aren’t serving us in our highest, most fulfilled and vital capacity) or we consistently feel the pain and frustration hoping and hoping things will change which also isn’t a sustainable or an empowering pattern. Luckily, you don’t have to stay here.
Here’s your reminder for today—small movements matter.
Small acts of self-devotion, discipline, physical movement, new financial choices, communicating how you feel and allowing people to see and get to know you…these in fact are NOT small acts. When added up they actually do create an entirely new life for you and your loved ones.
One small step — this can be a choice to say yes to something that you know would serve you but you’ve been holding back.
Allowing the should’s from your mind to go. All the things you could do or compare yourself to others with—let it go.
Those should’s that support YOU, to break free from old patterns, that uplift you to find your way home to yourself. Allow those to become your musts.
Allowing your inner guidance system to attune you to what most deeply resonates with you and helps you find your way to your most clear, connected, inspired and empowered self.
This is an invitation to say yes to discipline that’s rooted in love, presence and devotion to yourself rather than pressure.

You can’t heal and you can’t thrive without a practice.
Flow doesn’t come from waiting for the “right” time or more motivation.
Flow comes from choosing yourself in tiny, consistent ways.
So for this Find Your Flow Friday, I invite you to ask yourself:
- What’s one small thing I can do to support myself right now?
- What would support my body or nervous system today?
- What does softness look like for me right now?
- What does showing up for myself look like in this season of my life?
Allow it to be simple.
Allow it to be enough.
Allow yourself to follow your knowing.
The ripple you create today may be the foundation for everything that shifts tomorrow.
With love, gratitude and inspiration for all this year has in store for us all.
Xo,
Laurin
