Today’s find your flow message is a continuation about why alignment is so critical, and how alignment is key to accessing and living in flow.
When you move in a way that’s aligned and present with what you would truly love to have and create you will find yourself connecting to possibilities, being in a space of trust and flow and allowing yourself to show up fully.
So often, we feel we have to make things happen. It can be easy to think the push, force and strength is the key ingredient to having what you want. While this is usually the way we’re taught to achieve, it comes at quite a cost. It’s not a good or bad thing. It’s just that there is another way that comes with even more ease, flow and opportunity.
Your congruency, connection, consistency, certainty and heart are really what opens up space for you to create what you want.
I had a moment yesterday thinking about how grateful I am to be doing the work right now to help create my next steps.
I’ve had to dig deeper these last few months to uplevel again postpartum and really choose what’s next for myself and my family, and it’s been so helpful to almost go on the journey again with fresh eyes. I’m revisiting old helpful habits, as well as creating new ways of being that work with my current life circumstances.
Doing internal growth work with intention to create congruency is necessary.
You deserve and can create anything you want. Just maybe not all at the same time. It takes consistency, routines and being willing to be with all your doubts and fears and settle into your present moment with ease and gratitude each and every day so you can continue choosing what you’d love without an attachment and force.
Forcing habits, powering through work for completion without intention and ignoring or bypassing feedback is what creates tension and a separation from flow.
Cultivating and mastering yourself takes time and active participation from you. The more awareness and potential discomfort you learn to be with mindfully—the more flow and ease you can create.
Remember, force feels like tension, scarcity, doubt, not feeling good enough and creating pressure and constriction.

Alignment feels different.
Alignment is steady, grounded, clear, sustainable and purpose driven. It creates energy and inspiration.
Notice when something feels like fear. Fear of falling behind, fear of missing out, fear of not being enough—these are subtle signs to pay attention that you’re not quite in alignment, yet.
When you operate from force, you override intuition, push through exhaustion and ignore the signals asking for adjustment.
Over time, that disconnection costs you energy, vitality, productivity, possibility, fulfillment and ease.
If something feels heavy right now — a goal, a relationship, a responsibility — pause before doubling down. Your energy is the most valuable resource you have, so my invitation for you is to invest it wisely as often as possible.
Ask yourself:
- Is what I’m wanting to obtain or maintain still true for me?
- Am I choosing this out of alignment and purpose–or do I feel the need to prove something?
- What would alignment look like for me?
Choosing alignment doesn’t mean quitting. It means acting from truth instead of pressure.
You’ve got this. May you continue to be your own healer and teacher as you refine and refocus.
With love,
Laurin
