A True Path to Abundance
By now, you’ve probably heard of the Law of Attraction. Especially with the popularity of the movie, The Secret , the whole concept of scarcity versus abundance is everywhere.
On one side of the spectrum there’s scarcity, with the fear of never having enough or losing it all. On the other side, there’s abundance – living the life you love, always having and creating more. We often hear the goal is to live in abundance, right? But how do you get there?
I had a very interesting session with an energy healer and I loved his perspective.
Step 1: He said, make a list of everything you say you want.
Step 2: What are you doing to co-create this list not manifesting in your life? What are you currently gaining by not having each item?
We usually look at what’s on the way to our goals. What can we do more of, what new tools/strategies/approaches we can implement more of.
This question, however, left me seeing how anything we’re congruent with, we have an ability to manifest.
While timing may be unknown, we don’t waiver when we’re certain.
With certainty, patience is irrelevant, because we’re so present.
However, with uncertainty or a longing, we often lack patience, and therefore feel a level of scarcity.
Step 3: Capture which things on your list you’d truly love to have.
See, saying I want is actually just a step above feeling like I need to or I should. It still has a level of doubt. A feeling of yes, I may want it, and at the same time, I currently have benefits from not having it as well.
The more I saw these, I was then able to make a conscious choice. Some of the things I say I want often, I realized aren’t that important to me, and others just naturally started becoming more inspiring to go after. In fact, they became an I’d LOVE to rather than I want to.
What’s your current vibration?
A vibration of love to makes it much easier to attract and continue the action steps consistently that will contribute to our outcomes.
When we hold this perspective, our priorities naturally fall in line.
What are your priorities in life right now? Are they fueling and inspiring you daily? Are you beating yourself up and feeling like you’re self-sabotaging? That’s a sure sign way to know you’re just off of what your true love to’s are.
Anytime we try to live in someone else’s values, we self-depreciate. And, that’s actually a really good thing. It’s a sign as we become even more in tune with our bodies of what’s true for us.
