Today’s flow is being found in letting go and grounding exactly where you are.
Whether you’ve landed in this moment and are exactly where you’ve been wanting to be, you’re in a transitional season or calling in more, it’s so helpful to pause, intentionally create space, embrace presence and gratitude and get grounded,
While there are formulas for being in your flow, they can also vary based on your needs. Just like meditation is a tool to serve where you’re going. Think of being in your flow as where you’re heading and what you could focus on, let go of, integrate or clear space for, commit to…that would open you and free you to tune into your flow.
It’s never gone..it’s just one shift away by remembering who you are. By giving yourself permission to be in your light. To trust that you are ok exactly as you are. That you are enough. That you can still have and create what you’d love. That you can focus on on what you love and where you are being supported right now in your life regardless of what you want.
I am full swing into purging, opening up space and refining mode. If you’ve been reading these emails for a while you probably know I’ve been contemplating a move for awhile.
I’ve been looking a lot the last two weeks and I thought I found something amazing two days ago. Well, it is amazing—it’s a great find in my area and I was very tempted to say yes. I have to remind myself even when aspects are wonderful and a huge value-add, we can still assess the entirety of the situation without getting swept up.
There’s a big difference between following your knowing and being excited.
Another thing when we make big (or small) decisions is I don’t believe there’s a good or bad option. You can’t make a “wrong” choice.
Whatever journey you choose to go on in any areas of your life is just an experience. Experiences will be different, but you will remain on your path doing the best you can while simultaneously choosing even more flow and alignment along the way.
Both of these homes have benefits, and they both have drawbacks.

This house is so close and it might be that I take a step and it moves me in the direction of what I’m wanting and there’s something to be said for that. There’s also something in taking a big deep breath and knowing I’m getting closer and allowing that to fuel my energy into what I’d really love to create. I’ve decided that’s the option I’m leaning into. It takes trusting my timing, reminding myself I’m never missing out and a commitment to realign where I am currently at.
So yesterday I decided it was time to clean out my apartment again. Maybe I’m also feeling the need for more space because it was starting to feel like a closet there’s too much stuff it’s getting overwhelming and I don’t function well when my space does not feel clear physically and energetically Even behind the cabinets, clutter on my laptop and phone, photos that haven’t been organized…It’s amazing how much all this stuff can weigh us down consciously and unconsciously.
These are the subtle energies that affect our flow.
So last night I purged two garbage bags somehow out of my bathroom, cleaned everything re-organized it. I’m committed to doing each area of my home and then I can reassess how I really feel while simultaneously staying open to finding what I’d really love.
Three days a week I’m putting just a few hours each day in the calendar to go through an area and lighten my load.
I remember when I had thoughts about leaving New York and trying something new. My space was so small and cluttered and I just couldn’t get clear.
I had too much stuff so I decided to hire an organizer and an interior designer. I made it amazing in there. I cleansed it. I edited a lot of stuff. I felt so good in my space. Through that experience I realized that’s the best I can feel here and then probably 3 to 4 months later I found the place I live in now in LA and it was an easy yes to finally leave.
Sometimes we have to fully ground where we area to have space to move forward with ease versus rushing the process.
What’s no longer working for you?
What are you tolerating that you’re ready to let go of or reorganize?
Is there a conversation you’ve been wanting to have?
What would you love to create?
When you choose to take action the progress you start to gain will feel like you all of a sudden made huge shifts, even when your situation is still technically the same. Your way of showing up for yourself is different.
Where could you focus your creative energy?
So today I invite you to ask yourself what area do you want to focus on?
With love,
Laurin
