We’re officially in November. I don’t know about you, but I feel like time just flies after September through the holidays.
Today, let’s do a little check-in and I’ll share about a special FREE giveaway my dear friend, Molly Lyda, is offering that I’m participating in starting next week to help you Breakthrough to Love.
- Where do you find yourself this week?
- Are you gearing up into holiday mode yet?
- Are you pushing through to finish some goals and deadlines?
- Are you present for those, or powering through?
- Are you feeling busy and like you’re running out of time?
- Are you still creating and feeling inspired?
- Are you taking time to nurture yourself?
- Are you slowing down in a way that feels congruent or more from losing steam?
There’s no right or wrong here, I just believe it’s wise to be conscious of your time and energy and remember you always have choice.
Especially as you move into holiday season, it’s a time where many people want your attention and presence. It can be easy to feel overloaded with responsibilities and pressure.
While it’s great to consider yourself “a good person” you still remain both supportive/helpful and ‘good’ as well as challenging/wrong or ‘bad’ depending on who is judging, what they choose to prioritize and what they want from you. Some may feel you’ve let them down, and others may feel you overdeliver so it’s wise not to get caught up in other people’s perceptions regardless of what they are.
Rather than getting stuck on a label or rules, I invite you to focus on what fills you and others up.
Where and how can you show gratitude, love and appreciation? Where can you be an example of honoring your rituals, self-care and loving boundaries?

You honoring yourself is the greatest gift you can give and receive this holiday season.
I was on the phone with someone last week and they turned down a wonderful opportunity for them because their dad asked them to be close to home for the month while he missed their mother. Now, you get to choose what feels in alignment for you.
She factored in the pros and cons of staying, the pros and cons of leaving for the month and again there is choice from knowing and getting to neutrality.
While following your knowing will always ultimately feel best, there are times where we gain something else that’s still important and possibly worth the sacrifice of your flow.
Whether you upset yourself or your father (or whatever version of these kind of choices you can relate to for yourself) a choice is made where someone may not feel validated, seen or appreciated.
The greatest outcome I’ve seen is when people honor their highest values and simultaneously find meaningful ways of showing up through communication and a loving presence whether they’re able to be there physically or not. It’s important not to fall into other people’s traps or only what they say they need. Sometimes when we dig even deeper into what’s really meaningful and honors them–it makes all the difference.
I’ve personally also found when I’m really clear and choose what’s in my truth and flow, the other person often comes up with their own resourceful way of being. I’ve even had some incredible conversations where the other person comes back just hours later with a whole new perspective and actually offering that I should follow what I need before I’ve even expressed anything that I’ve been considering.
Still, even when it may not be well-received or 2-sided-the more clear, loving and open you are, the greater the outcome.
I understand her decision given her father’s stage of life it made sense for her to compromise and go spend a week at home. She had to miss her month-long opportunity but this felt like her most aligned choice. Now our conversation was about tools to show up open, loving and grateful for their time together so she could be fully present rather than resentful.
My main outcome in today’s find your flow message is to build your awareness, practice your self-care, up-level your tools where needed for energetic and emotional boundaries and healing and remember not to spread yourself too thin.
This season can be a time that really fills you up rather than leaving you on empty starting January in recovery mode.
This leads us into your second gift offering for today.
