Feeling Stuck Tuning into Yourself

Do you ever struggle to move forward? 

Overwhelmed with to-do’s and all the things on your plate? 

When you feel stuck, you can be hypersensitive to what’s present around you. It’s as if every noise and interaction can feel intense. 

This is when it’s so important to pause and take a time-out to be with what’s present so you can reset.

There is a part that can see, feel and honor what feels true for you from this stuck state of being. 

And, there’s a part of you that would love so much more. So much more ease, connection, certainty, gratitude, results, support and love. 

After processing and connecting, then you can consciously choose how you want to feel. Remind yourself of who you are. And…who you are being called to be. 

Even though I’m on vacation this week, I felt stuck and stagnant yesterday morning. 

It took intention to go out for my walk and find my rhythm. I knew it was important for me to move my body and from there I would have a shift of perception. 

After moving for a few minutes, it became so clear to me how full my space was energetically and where the tension was in my physical body. 

I sat down to do a simple separation and body scanning so I could be with what was. I also needed time to process the thoughts running through my head. And, all the places I felt a lack of support. I know cognitively, it’s not all true, but it’s helpful to give ourselves permission to validate those parts that do feel a certain way.

It may seem counterintuitive, but the more you can be with your fears, doubts and discomforts, the more you can grow your capacity and vibration. 

I haven’t found the positive optimistic angle sustainable. It’s just one side of what’s present. 

The more you can be with and fully know within yourself, the less chaos, distractions and low vibes you need to attract to help you to grow. 

Normally in order to help you find your flow I’d go through the how-to’s of what I did above. But, yesterday, something surprising happened for the first time and it really made me reflect and expand so today I’m sharing this “new tool” with you. 

I received a call from a friend and it was so validating and inspiring. It reminded me of who I am, places I love to visit and the vision I have for my life and my present moment in so many ways. In just a few minutes we covered so many topics while catching up. 

This made me think about external feedback. 

Conversations, work, family time, a run in with a stranger…

Sometimes, you may speak to someone and you feel empowered sharing something you’ve already learned or transcended. This helps you build your self-worth and confidence. 

The gift of time you offer someone else is equally reciprocated in those reminders to yourself to strengthen your foundation as you speak aloud. 

Then, there are times where you may find yourself complaining, struggling or judging someone else. These are a signal to pay attention. 

All interactions are either validating and a reminder or a call for growth. 

Think about a conversation you’ve had recently.

Where was it? With whom?  

What did it bring out within you? Stress, discomfort, tension, defensiveness or ease, gratitude, confidence and an open heart? 

Did it expand your vision in some way? 

Did it connect you with your creativity? 

Did it make you shrink? 

Was it validating or a call for growth? 

What can you learn and expand within yourself? 

I’m not here today talking about only having positive interactions or telling you to spend time with people that raise your vibration. 

Yes, that can be true sometimes but there’s a reason you feel tension or find yourself judging someone in other interactions. And, that reason isn’t just about the other person. 

We’re all human and if you CHOOSE to use conversations as opportunities, you will be able to trust if you’re having a lower vibe interaction that’s a place calling you to grow and expand your being and it’s presented to you for a reason. 

If you miss it, you’ll have to recreate it. 

When you choose accountability within yourself, you don’t need the outside world to choose it for you. 

Even those short interactions with a stranger are opportunities.  

Maybe someone cuts in front of you and you stumble and find yourself blaming, or get triggered by someone driving recklessly. 

I’ve had those quick interactions that can cause stress and I’ve had them amplify gratitude. Either way, it’s a gift to tune into yourself. 

Every interaction you have you are solidifying something within yourself. The question is: “Is it solidifying what you want and how you want to be?”
