There’s no worse critic than yourself.
We can so often feel overwhelmed by failure, or things seemingly not working out as quickly as desired or expected.
It’s not as much the feeling itself, but rather the process of how you interact with your thoughts and emotions that matter most.
You may have heard that different vibrations have different frequencies. A specific frequency is your soul’s calling when you’re truly aligned helping you magnetize what is meant for you.
And, sometimes it’s more challenging to stay at your most tuned in frequency.
What I’ve found when I’m judging myself. If I push it aside and constantly jump into positivity—my body doesn’t trust me. I feel like I’m betraying myself and I can’t keep the facade going.

It’s an outdated model that doesn’t value the integration of polar opposites that do exist simultaneously. The more we take time to honor what is and what isn’t working, the more we can course correct and use the feedback to find our flow.
If you dwell on what’s lacking, not working and all the struggle…you will continue to lower your vibration and feel stuck.
Both sides can be comfortable at times, but the connection to yourself, your body, your mind with your spiritual self online helps you feel purposeful and guided into who you really are.
We can’t find connection through focusing on lack, and we can’t get there through positivity either.
What does help?
- Acknowledging. Being comfortable getting to know yourself and be with yourself through all you’re going through is a first step.
- Being with, breathing through and staying in your body with all the parts of yourself. Remember, you don’t need to defend yourself, you’re allowed to just be. And, that can mean multiple thoughts and feelings being true at once. Then you come in with your guided perspective.
- Our whole life’s journey is just a learning experience and we don’t have to make everything so black or white.
Today, I’m sharing different helpful quotes about failure that maybe will help you remind yourself to breathe, that you’re not doing anything wrong and that you’re still on your path regardless of how you may feel.
I’m in a transition period myself and sometimes I fight it and sometimes I settle right into it reminding myself I’ll move forward as I’m ready. Patience is truly a virtue…and so is connection, awareness and vulnerability.
- “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall” Confucius
- “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work” Thomas Edison
- “Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm” Winston Churchill
If you take away a learning and share your wisdom, there is no such thing as failure.
Remember, no one gets away without growing.
If you think to compare yourself to someone else or imagine what may be working or better for them, know we all have challenges.
The choice becomes: do you choose inspiring challenges that are aligned with you expanding, or do you get stuck in challenges that take you down??
Some questions to journal:
- What have you been holding onto too tightly?
- What is it time to let go of?
- Where can you open up some space for a new way of being and clarity?
- Can you choose to take a breath, love and trust yourself even more right now?
Here’s to you navigating through your challenging times with love, patience and support.
If there’s something you’d like to share about what you’re going through…I love hearing from you.
Best,
Laurin
