Do you sometimes feel tense, overwhelmed and disconnected?
Often, it’s helpful to invite in a new energy to guide us forward and to help bring in some new perspectives.
We all know we have times where we allow ourselves permission to be child-like. Notice, I’m using the term child-like and not childish. Child-like means we’re flexible, inviting, engaging, open and enthusiastic. These are super useful qualities for us to embrace at different times.
How could feeling more child-like serve you today? I invite you to take on your 5 year old self. What do you notice? Do you speak differently? Engage with others more? Have more appreciation? Find more to be grateful for? Are you playful? Do you jump around? Do you find yourself wanting to skip through the hall?
Think of Jessica affirming all the things she’s grateful for. This also helps us feel more certain and confident within ourselves. This is something you can do while you brush your teeth, walk to work, workout, eat a meal, play with your kids…and enjoy the magic that can come from being child-like.
